Second Hand Curtain Sales

Are you selling second hand curtains or buying second hand curtains.

Curtain Revival - To Sell:

Curtains & Things will shortly be offering our clients a "second hand curtain sales" service. 

With any change of circumstances; you have moved house and your curtains do not fit your new house; or you are re-decorating in a new style; or maybe you have just made a mistake (it happens)….. then we will try to sell your curtains for you.

Our terms are 55% of the sales price to you. 

Curtains must be lined and/or interlined, clean and in a good condition.  Contact us first, before you spend money on cleaning in case we cannot accept them for some reason.  Some colours or designs won’t sell, whatever the price asked!

When we have accepted your curtains for sale a price will be agreed. Articles are taken in for a period of six months during which time Curtains & Things will make every endeavour to sell them. 

After six months, if we can’t find a buyer, we post/email a ‘please collect note’.

Items are sent to charity if they are not collected. Unfortunately we do not have the space to store items awaiting collection and they should be picked up within two weeks of the expiry date.

The ownership of articles deposited with us is confidential.

If you are wanting curtains for your home, rental property or holiday house, it is worth having a look at the quality recycled curtains we have in stock.

Here you can see the finished product hanging and can be bought on a sale or return basis (normally 24 hours) in order that you can try them at home.

The first and most important thing to do is accurately measure the width and the drop.

It is far better to err on the big side. There is nothing worse than curtains that do not quite meet in the middle or "caravan curtains" that finish just above the window sill.

With this information, we have all the details necessary to consider a range of window covering solutions for you.

You may think that there is only one option for your window, but we may suggest a slightly larger width or length to give maximum effect to your window and room. We aim to offer sound advice and creative solutions for your window covering.

When you visit, bring window measurements, plus samples of wall, carpet and upholstery colours, or photos of the items, so that we are able to give you a better service.
